Great information, Samuel! For commercial HVAC systems, the Department of Energy actually recommends that they be replaced once every 10 years. At the ten year point, some components of modern air-conditioners may start to show signs of wear and tear.

Thx, Samuel! Home air conditioners can work much longer, depending on how often they are used. Our 1st model of Shinco working for 15 years, we only changed consumables
